Wholefood Shop
Opened in Nov 2003 on prime location at the top of the triangle, just into Clifton. Massive floor space stuffed full of all sorts of vegan and organic delights. Some meat, fish and dairy available, but predominantly vegan. Huge array of fresh organic fruit and veg makes a most impressive display, tempting even the most devoted carnivore into a spot of impulse healthy living. Vast bodycare selection, plus a huge amount of groceries. Deli section pretty awesome, and especially interesting to vegans is their dairy free deserts choice, including cakes, trifles and pancakes. And down the bottom end of the store, hot food and Café area available with plenty of vegan options.

Worth a look if you're in tha area... otherwise, for the size it's very disappointing. No vegan soft cheese, the same variety of ice-cream as any supermarket, cheese limited to cheezly, only one item (sausages) in the freezers! No ready made vegan sandwiches... I could go on. For such a huge floorspace, it should be SO much better! Other smaller shops manage much better range...maybe I went on a bad day...
