Marigold Braised Tofu - London

AVN Score: Meat alternative supplier

Marigold Braised Tofu is one of the most delicious creations on Earth, no exaggeration. The texture is sublime, incredibly tender, and not dissimilar to extremely tender chicken or veal in some respects. Comes in a tin and can be marinaded overnight before being either roasted in the oven (divine, especially with garlic and tamari) or stir fried with noodles and vegetables. A real treat for a vegan Sunday dinner, and brilliant for things like Christmas. Julie from Yaoh is a total maestro with the braised tofu and will be doing a demo at the Bristol Vegan Fayre 2006 if I ask her nicely, showing people how to make the best out of this wondrous creation.
