Bath restaurant run by the Choudhury family for over two decades. Winners of an impressive list of awards, The Eastern Eye features cuisine from across India, and will quite happily whisk you up a special favourite not on the menu with a little bit of notification in advance. Flexible, friendly, passionate, quality food, always clean for vegans, and boasting a most impressive Georgian interior too.
And The Eastern Eye has played host to none other than Sri Lankan cricket idol Sanath Jayasuriya - the fella who won the Cricket World Cup for Sri Lanka a decade ago virtually single handed. Imagine, David Beckham, Wayne Rooney and Freddie Flintoff rolled into one and you will have some idea of how high a regard this man is held in his homeland. A true legend.
