Down by the river near the Cumberland basin, tucked away behind one of those huge red brick tobacco warehouses that now doubles up as Safestore Storage. Traditional garden centre with the usual tackle, but with the addition of a charming vegetarian café too.
Plenty of choice, nice people, great location, no meat in the kitchen, not expensive either. Its not an easy option, going for exclusively vegetarian these days, as so many omnivore kitchens serve up imaginative and appealing vegetarian options along with the meaty stuff, so fair shout these guys, who deserve our support and custom for keeping the kitchen meat free. Food’s lively too – not to be missed.
