Description
This lot are all places that serve meat and dairy, but also have
great vegan choices, and have always been vegan friendly and clean
whenever any of us have visited. As with all places that serve
animal products, it is worth emphasising politely the vegan bit if
it bothers you.

Originally in Lower Ashley Road St Pauls, and now with an
expanded location in Southville too, next to the Tobacco Factory , both these restaurants
not only provide great vegan options, but both are located away
from the usual vegan friendly areas of Bristol. Expect plenty of
noodles, and if you are new to the vegan lifestyle, or perhaps a
title short on culinary ideas then you may well be interested in
the cookery school that Teohs run, where parties of dozen or more,
for a small fee, get to do all the prep as well as cooking in the
kitchen with the option to sample them all afterwards. Sounds a
great idea. Shop full of fascinating oriental products on the Lower
Ashley.

"I liked Toeh's. Most of the dishes cam be veganised and I like the fact that the dishes are stir-fried realy fast and appear on your table in minutes. Some of the portions are small so I got extra noodles ( yum...noodles ), I'd go again but I agree with Ben, nothing amazing but worth a visit anyways. It's like good takeaway. "

"The Southville Teohs is probably one of the easiest and cheapest places to eat if you're a vegan in Bristol. Many of the dishes include the helpful label 'vegetarian or vegan version available.' There's a good mix of food on the menu, from tofu dishes to soups, but nothing mindblowing. A nice place to eat and quite easy to get to from the city centre. "
