APA are running a nationwide campaign in the summer holidays aimed at educating the public, and in particular children, not to buy exotic animals as pets.

APA have just completed our schools film aimed at 10-12 years old which will be sent out to all schools and is line with the current curriculum.

We are looking at a putting on a couple of events at various locations around the UK and Ireland including Bristol and need volunteers to help us:

Help with press photo – this may be talking with the media and/or leafleting the public during the photo shoot.

Help with the children's events – e.g. Screening of the educational film, quiz, goodie bags, face painting etc.

Face painters urgently needed!!! – any talented facepainters who can help or can produce a template which we can teach others, please contact us.

Also anybody who works with scouts/guides/homeschool groups in their area please contact us.
