Free Vegan Food Fair - Saturday 30th October 2010 at Broadmead Baptist Church, Union Street, Bristol

Free Vegan Food Fair – Saturday 30th October 2010 at Broadmead Baptist Church,

Date: 2010-09-23

The event will be twice the size this year, with an extra hall full of a real variety of stalls, more talks and films, and a dedicated room for nutrition surgeries.

Becoming vegan saves thousands of animals.

This will be one of the messages at Bristol Animal Rights Collective's second free vegan food fair.

"Less than a quarter of the land and water used for an omnivorous diet is needed to feed a vegan, and its far healthier to be vegan", explain the organisers.

There will be a range of free food samples to tempt even the most stubborn of meat eaters. This will include vegan ice-cream, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and a range of savoury dishes to suit those without a sweet tooth. There will also be the return of our vegan henna painter, and face-painting for the children. Are you vegan? If so, we'd love to have your help! If you can help with any of the following in the lead up to the event, or on the day, give us a shout: Protected email address or 07595745441.

Want to meet some others who are involved in the event? There will be an optional pre-meeting for volunteers on Monday 25th October at 7.30pm at Kebele, Robertson Road, Easton. For more info, see www.bristolanimalrights.org.uk/veganfoodfair
