Man-kind Images – A New Ethical Photo Library

Man-kind Images – A New Ethical Photo Library

Date: 2008-12-21

Launched on International Animal Rights Day, Man-kind Images is a new ethical photo library featuring over 500 animal and related images.

Long-term vegan Rob Hill – who has set up www.man-kind.co.uk with his own images – said “I want to provoke thought and effect change. My motivation is to save animals and encourage people on their journey towards veganism and I really hope my new site can play some part in helping to create a kinder world.†Containing previously unseen images of farmed and captive animals, animals used for entertainment/sport as well as wildlife and biodiversity and others, the website provides an affordable option for groups, likeminded parties and individuals, with images – available for multiple, non-exclusive use – costing between £7.50 and £20 each. The site will continue to grow with new images and different issues being covered with time, such as the recent addition of a green/environment gallery. Visit www.man-kind.co.uk or contact Man-kind Images at Protected email address or call 07773 433657.

Demuth's new 'Green Seasons Cookbook'

The 3rd Demuths cookbook is now published.

It's very colourful with fabulous photographs by Mark Wood, over 120 delicious and easy to make vegetarian recipes that change with the seasons.

Each season section is made up of recipes that Demuths are inspired to create during each season of the year. Recipes are divided into small eats that can be served as starters, or for lunch, or snacks. Larger eats for main meals including complete mezzes, tapas and thali that can be made for a party. Sweet eats speak for themselves!

Each season has an introduction to their favourite seasonal vegetables.

They have added a glossary of the more unusual ingredients, simple time saving techniques and invaluable equipment to get you started.

All in all, enjoy cooking with the freshest of vegetables, and they hope this cookbook will give you recipe ideas which will suit what you feel like eating as the seasons change.
